Did You Know...
August 15, 2008: All stores still using older versions of checkout must move to Checkout Manager by this date. Stores that have not moved will be automatically migrated, but Order Settings will not be published. Your store’s Order Settings must be published before the old checkout servers are shut down on September 1.
September 1, 2008: Old checkout servers will be shut down on this date. As noted above, if your store was affected by this migration, your Order Settings must be published by this date. If Order Settings are not published, your new checkout pages will not be generated and pushed out, and your checkout will no longer function.
If you are reading this then you are aware that your Yahoo Store checkout pages need a little work in order to match your store. That's ok because we are aware of it too and we designed this service just for you.
By default the Yahoo! Store checkout pages have a generic look and lay-out that does not do a good job of branding the cart pages with your theme. This is important because if the checkout process look and feel does not match your site there is a percentage of your customers that will not feel comfortable and they will stop right there! This is known as an "abandoned cart". How do we know this? Because we tested it of course.
This service will include the following:
- Match the Look & Feel of your Store to your Checkout Pages to include color changes and incorporating existing graphics.
- Enable PayPal Express checkout as applicable.
- Add any SSL, Verification, Site Check, Hacker Safe, BBB logos as applicable.
- Enhance "Keep Shopping" link.
- Testing of new Checkout pages before publishing
